Kingdom Hope Garment Factory Expansion Provides Freedom for more Daughters

The Kingdom Hope Garment Factory provides fair-wage jobs to 20 of our rescued daughters as they create the patterns and sew the garments for ODI partner Elegantees, a New York fashion brand focused on combatting human trafficking. Ramesh and Katie, founder & CEO of Elegantees, made a bold decision in 2021 to expand the capacity of the garment factory to provide sustainable and equitable jobs to an additional 25 daughters.

Due to the fundraising efforts of the team at Elegantees, this dream is now becoming a reality. The capacity of the factory has been expanded to 45 daughters through the generosity and love of over 80 donors who gave more than $40,000 which has also been used to replace old sewing machines with new, updated models.
